Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team as a Float Medical Assistant. As a Float Medical Assistant, you will provide clinical and administrative support to various departments and specialties within our organization, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to patients, including vital sign collection, preparation of treatment rooms, and procedural support.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and processing patient records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in medical assisting preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certification accepted.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
