Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at ECHN. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for physician examinations and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with administrative and clinical duties, including scheduling appointments and handling patient communications
  • Perform EKGs and Spirometry as ordered by physicians
  • Report lab results to patients and follow up with physician instructions
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to CLIA regulations and HIPAA requirements
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or registration as a Medical Assistant preferred
  • Previous experience working in a medical facility preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills, with ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems
