Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary

MedStar Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality sonographic evaluations and assist with various obstetric procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sonographic evaluations of fetal morphology, age, and growth assessment using different scanning modalities.
  • Evaluate images for quality and photograph appropriate images using multiformat cameras.
  • Enter data to generate sonographic reports and review processed images with physicians.
  • Work with physicians, nursing staff, and schedulers to ensure patients are seen promptly.
  • Assist in training and education of patients, employees, physicians, students, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and procedure tables before and after each procedure.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound.
  • 1-2 years of experience in OB/GYN ultrasound.
  • RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) registered or successful completion of certification within 180 days.

MedStar Health offers a competitive salary range of $34.98 - $59.26 and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
