Job Description

At Shaker Recruitment Marketing, we're a full-service agency that specializes in highly customized communications and strategies for attracting and retaining top talent. As a Senior Client Consultant, you'll be the frontline of our organization, responsible for mid to large enterprise account engagement, development, and overall satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management: Day-to-day management of clients, building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of the client organization.
  • Relationship Building: Retain and nurture relationships with clients, internal departments, and partners.
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to clients, discovering new opportunities to work together.
  • Client Advocacy: Serve as the client's internal Shaker advocate, interacting with Shaker departments to coordinate all deliverables seamlessly.
  • Project Management: Juggle multiple clients and project priorities simultaneously, orchestrating long-term plans to meet client objectives.
  • Proposal Development: Actively support the team in the preparation of proposals and media recommendations, ensuring all goals and objectives are being considered and incorporated.
  • Contract Management: Consult on and close customer contracts (Media or other).
  • Business Growth: Responsible for consistent growth and client billings at all levels.
  • Sales and Marketing: Confidently sell additional Shaker services, understanding Shaker offerings and managing client initiatives within each core category.
  • Process Management: Follow-up with departments to ensure requested deadlines are met, understanding the process and providing guidance around the creation of orders and billing processes.
  • Presentation and Communication: Prepare flawless, well-branded presentations.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience: BA and 10+ years of progressive client management experience required; preferably in the Talent Acquisition industry.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrable business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes.
  • Negotiation and Problem-Solving: Confident negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Presentation and Communication: Excellent presentation and ability to interact with clients at all levels.
  • Solution Selling: Passion for helping others and solution selling – listen, learn, deliver.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills in person, by phone, or via email.
  • Intuitive Questioning: Intuitive questioning – ability to proactively dig into issues to offer the best solution set.
  • Intuitive Learning: Intuitive learning – able to relate new learning to client needs.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and exceptional follow-through.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of current talent industry marketing and advertising trends and best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in PowerPoint, MS Office, Excel, Filemaker, LinkedIn.
  • Pressure Management: Works well under pressure and stress.
  • Research and Campaign Planning: Research and campaign planning skills.
  • Client Relationship Management: Experience in client relationship management.
  • Background in Advertising, Marketing, HR/Talent Acquisition: Background in advertising, marketing, HR/Talent Acquisition.
  • Coaching and Development: Ability to work on the front line while nurturing and developing team members as coach and mentor.
  • Previous Agency Experience: Previous agency experience preferred; recruitment-related a strong plus.
