Job Summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled LPN Medication Care Manager to join our team. As a Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Administer medication and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Sunrise Senior Living policies.
  • Resident Care: Provide resident care while demonstrating the Sunrise Senior Living Mission, Principles of Service, and Core Values.
  • Risk Management and General Safety: Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and British Columbia Workers Compensation Act requirements, promoting risk management programs and policies, and adhering to safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential.
  • Maintain certifications and ongoing training and re-education as required by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interest.
  • Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understanding.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
