Human Resources Technician I/II

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Technician to join our team at the County of Del Norte, CA. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide technical support in recruitment, testing, and selection, as well as perform various administrative and record-keeping tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and databases
- Process personnel action forms and enter data into electronic and manual filing systems
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including developing job announcements and screening applicants
- Provide support with benefits administration, medical leaves of absence, and other HR-related tasks
- Perform various administrative and technical support activities as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
- Two years of experience in human resources or a related field; benefits administration and FMLA/CFRA experience highly desirable
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other HR software applications
The County of Del Norte offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, and a retirement plan. Paid annual leave, vacation, and sick leave are also provided, as well as 13 working days of holiday pay per year.
