Conflicts and Intake Specialist

Saul Ewing LLP is seeking a skilled professional to join its conflicts department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing new business intake forms, identifying conflicts, and ensuring accuracy through verification, research, and communication with firm personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level analysis of conflict check requests for new business, including lateral hires.
  • Facilitate client and matter onboarding, conducting risk checks on new clients and mandates.
  • Undertake research and analysis on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Assist with maintaining databases and performing updates on client and matter information.
  • Review engagement letters for accuracy in scope and rates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in conflicts, with a preference for IntApp and Aderant experience.
  • Experience in client onboarding, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Good understanding of the Rules of Professional Conduct as they relate to conflicts.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
