Compensation: $71,900 - $82,000 annually

Location: Hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence three days a week.

Position Summary:

The Senior Ledger Accountant is tasked with delivering precise and timely month-end financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role requires a strong financial acumen to effectively fulfill its responsibilities and reports directly to the General Ledger Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing relevant journal entries for the general ledger.
  • Analyze financial data and offer insightful financial recommendations.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and principles in line with GAAP.
  • Collaborate with various departments to maintain accurate records and provide accounting support.
  • Prepare tax documentation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Uphold internal control compliance related to SOX regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Effective problem-solving skills to identify and rectify financial discrepancies.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills for conveying accounting information.
  • Experience with large ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Able to work collaboratively as well as independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience in accounting or finance.
