Cisco Network Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cisco Network Analyst to join our team at Insight Global. As a Network Support Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our client's entire systems network, identifying and resolving issues, and escalating complex problems to the L3 team when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the client's network infrastructure, including Cisco WAN and SD-WAN technologies
  • Identify and resolve network issues, including troubleshooting WAN technologies and voice-related problems
  • Collaborate with the L3 team to resolve complex network issues
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Cisco WAN and SD-WAN technologies
  • Experience with routing protocols, including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and RIP
  • Knowledge of wireless technologies, including RF and Aruba
  • Experience with data centers, including Cisco Nexus switches and F5 load balancers
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Bonus Experience:

  • Experience with APs, controllers, and ClearPass
  • Knowledge of WAN technologies, including T1s, T3s, and Metro-ethernet connections
  • Experience with load balancing methods and troubleshooting WAN technologies
