Office Support Specialist

As an Office Support Specialist at MSCCN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your primary responsibilities will include managing electronic files, scanning and electronically filing personnel and payroll-related documents, and processing weekly hourly payroll as assigned. You will also be responsible for verifying new employee payroll set up after onboarding, conducting various audits as assigned, and preparing conversion and/or portability benefit documents for terminated employees. Additionally, you will assist with coordination of materials for open enrollment, prepare and distribute memos regarding newly hired employees, terminated employees, and promotions, and manage bulletin board postings. You will also be responsible for managing swipe cards, issuing, replacing, and deactivating as needed, and coordinating office celebrations, including luncheons, holiday celebrations, retirements, and returns to Japan. Furthermore, you will coordinate all aspects for corporate executive meetings, securing venue, equipment, food, and beverages. You will also distribute various documents to employees in the office, place orders for office supplies, and assist the Accounting department with clerical support as needed. Key Responsibilities
- Manage electronic files and scan and electronically file personnel and payroll-related documents
- Process weekly hourly payroll as assigned

Requirements
- 2+ years of office support experience
- Windows Explorer (navigating through files in Windows, etc.)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Type 30wpm
- Familiarity with payroll systems, including Paylocity and Kronos
- Scanner for files
- Familiarity with booking travel and scheduling meetings
