Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the Hospice Volunteer program in accordance with regulatory guidelines
  • Recruit, train, and select volunteers
  • Assess the need for volunteer services in collaboration with patients, families, and the Hospice team
  • Create a comprehensive volunteer orientation and checklist program
  • Oversee and evaluate volunteer performance regularly

Qualifications:

  • Preferred college degree
  • At least two years of experience in a healthcare environment
  • Experience in hospice care and/or volunteer management is preferred
  • Strong understanding of the Hospice Volunteer program
  • Familiarity with the Hospice philosophy
