As a Field Safety Specialist at The Chemours Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our operations and employees. You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of safety strategies, procedures, and training programs to prevent accidents and injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure safe work practices and procedures
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain safety metrics and reporting systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. safety, engineering, environmental science)
  • 5+ years of experience in a safety or operations role
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and process safety management principles
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
