Job Summary

Heritage Environmental Services is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Environmental Field Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing field work on site-specific jobs to meet the goals of the project in a safe and conscientious manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Prepare necessary supplies, tools, and equipment for transport to the worksite.
  • Clean and scrape the inside of underground chemical storage tanks, and prepare waste for proper disposal.
  • Provide labor for demolition of contaminated buildings and land sites, and operate excavation and filter press operation equipment.
  • Operate small hand tools and provide other construction-type labor in projects.
  • Decontaminate company equipment and tools.
  • Load, unload, and sample drums, and respond to emergency spills.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License preferred.
  • Ability to understand RCRA compliance standards and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Ability to work closely with others.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
