Panda Restaurant Group encompasses the original Panda Inn fine dining establishments, Panda Express, our fast-casual Gourmet Chinese food concept, and Hibachi San, our Japanese grill concept. The company remains family-owned and operated by founders Andrew and Peggy Cherng.

Position Overview:
- The server is vital in delivering prompt, efficient service while possessing comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage offerings. This role emphasizes exceptional guest service and maintaining a clean and organized station throughout the shift.
a) Ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for; impress them with outstanding service.
b) Uphold proper dining etiquette.
c) Maximize sales opportunities.
- Greet all guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
- Inform guests about our menu offerings, including holiday specials. Recommend seasonal dishes and upsell additional items such as beverages, appetizers, and desserts.
- Become the preferred server by remembering regular guests' names and orders.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to accommodate special requests regarding ingredients and food preparation.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders from the kitchen, garnishing and preparing as necessary.
- Keep guests updated on the status of their food and drink orders if there are delays.
- Properly place dishes on the table and execute wine opening and serving procedures.
- Maintain high service standards, including removing and replacing dirty plates.
- Engage guests in conversation to enhance their dining experience.
- Know when to offer services without interrupting guests' conversations.
- Anticipate guests' needs, such as condiments and beverages.
- Conduct quality check-backs promptly to ensure satisfaction and address any requests or complaints, seeking managerial assistance as needed.
- Present the check at the end of the meal and process payments following company procedures.
- Assist bussers and fellow servers during busy periods.
- Ensure the dining area remains clean and free of debris; promptly address spills and safety hazards.
- Perform opening and closing duties for the dining area and workstations as required.
