Position Overview:
- The server is essential in delivering prompt, efficient service to guests while possessing comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings. This role emphasizes exceptional guest service and maintaining a clean and organized station throughout the shift.

- Greet all guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
- Inform guests about our menu options, including seasonal specials. Recommend additional items such as drinks, appetizers, and desserts
- Become the preferred server—frequently requested by guests. Remember the names and orders of regular patrons
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to accommodate any special requests regarding ingredients and food preparation
- Ensure timely delivery of orders from the kitchen, preparing them as necessary with garnishes and sauces
- Keep guests updated on the status of their food and drink orders if there are delays
- Properly place dishes on the table
- Follow correct procedures for opening and serving wine
- Adhere to service standards, including removing and replacing dirty plates
- Engage guests in light conversation to enhance their dining experience
- Recognize the appropriate moments to offer assistance without interrupting guests' conversations
- Anticipate guests' needs before they ask, such as condiments and beverages
- Conduct timely quality checks to ensure guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or complaints, seeking managerial assistance when necessary
- Present the check at the conclusion of the meal, processing payments in accordance with company procedures
- Assist bussers and fellow servers as needed, particularly during peak times
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, promptly addressing spills and reporting any safety hazards
- Perform opening or closing duties for the dining room and workstations as required
