Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Wendy's restaurant team in San Diego. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Operations and Customer Service
    • Ensure that all restaurant operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including food preparation, customer service, and cash handling.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service, including responding to customer complaints and feedback.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
    • Monitor and analyze sales and profit trends to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and profitability.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
    • Monitor and analyze marketing and promotional efforts to identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement brand-building initiatives.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, train, and develop restaurant staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
    • Manage employee relations, including resolving conflicts and addressing employee concerns.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all restaurant operations meet high standards of quality and safety, including food safety and handling procedures.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve quality and safety standards.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
      • Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably with a fast-food chain.
    • Skills and Qualifications
      • Proven track record of success in restaurant management, including sales growth and customer satisfaction.
      • Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and develop a team.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and vendors.
      • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
      • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
