Key Responsibilities:

The Culinary Operations Coordinator will collaborate closely with culinary management to assist in various administrative and organizational functions, including:

  1. Monitoring labor hours and managing employee time records.
  2. Facilitating employee accommodations and coordinating internship programs.
  3. Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes in collaboration with HR.
  4. Overseeing the maintenance of employee housing facilities.
  5. Preparing and finalizing daily menus in conjunction with front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
  6. Managing uniform inventory and distribution.
  7. Coordinating daily operational reports and staff communications.
  8. Maintaining organized digital documentation for kitchen operations.
  9. Managing inventory of service ware and non-food supplies.
  10. Scheduling meetings and organizing interviews as directed by senior management.
  11. Ordering necessary non-food items as approved by management.
  12. Collaborating with other departments on inter-departmental projects.
  13. Assisting with employee housing organization and tracking.
  14. Facilitating HR-related documentation and processes.
  15. Supporting additional projects as assigned by culinary leadership.
  16. Following directives from senior management efficiently and effectively.
  17. Performing other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong organizational capabilities
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Desire to enhance culinary operations
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to identify and propose improvements

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
  • Capacity to lift and manage files weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to type for prolonged periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
