Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Maternal - Newborn team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Maternal - Newborn unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maternal-newborn nursing and excellent communication skills. As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the development of our nursing team.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the acute care setting.
- Strong background in maternal-newborn nursing, with a preference for 2 years of experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
