Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Maternal Newborn team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Maternal Newborn department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maternal-newborn nursing and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns in a safe and compassionate manner.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in maternal-newborn nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or privilege to practice under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in maternal-newborn nursing.
