We're seeking a talented Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team at Advance Local, one of the country's largest privately-owned media companies. As an Account Executive, you'll play a crucial role in driving advertising revenue and building strong relationships with our clients.


Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect new business opportunities and develop existing accounts to drive revenue growth
  • Meet with local business owners and decision-makers to understand their needs and goals, and advise them on our comprehensive product mix
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design custom advertising and marketing solutions that meet client needs
  • Present solutions to clients and work collaboratively to achieve their goals
  • Foster strong client relationships through retention and upselling
  • Review campaign results, learn from data, and celebrate successes
  • Work with our advertising fulfillment team to provide accurate information for each client campaign

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven success in increasing sales in a competitive marketplace using a needs-based selling approach
  • Experience in digital advertising is a plus
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to build rapport and confidence with clients
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, creating, and delivering effective presentations
  • Self-motivation and resilience
  • Ability to effectively organize your day, multitask, and work under deadlines
  • Familiarity with CRM sales management software, ideally SalesForce

Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel, are essential for creating presentations and reviewing data.
