Job Summary:

AABBTECH Professional Resources is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support our project execution team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical engineering support to our projects, including interface with clients, review of design documents, and coordination with subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with client personnel to discuss electrical engineering requirements and provide support as needed.
  • Review design documents for constructability and provide feedback to the project team.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure electrical engineering requirements are met.
  • Assist in the preparation of quantity listings of field-purchased material and equipment.
  • Direct the preparation of work packages and ensure they are completed on time.
  • Assist in the review of specifications, purchase orders, subcontracts, inspection reports, delivery schedules, instruction manuals, and technical data.
  • Coordinate with site management to ensure electrical engineering requirements are met.
  • Review and provide input on construction estimates, cost, schedules, and budgets.
  • Determine that vendors' bids for material and/or equipment are in conformance to specifications.
  • Coordinate the interfacing between the construction automation plan and the Project Controls program at the job-site.

Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or similar from an accredited program and 1+ years of experience or 7+ years related experience in lieu of degree.
  • Level 2: B.S. Degree in Engineering or similar from an accredited program and 3+ years of experience or 9+ years related experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check, including verification of employment and education.
  • Must be able to obtain a site security badge for access to the worksite.
  • Must be physically able to conduct field inspections and participate in project walk-downs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent commercial nuclear experience at a Bechtel EPC Project.
  • Recent experience as an Electrical Field Engineer or Area Lead Electrical Field Engineer.
  • Experience in reviewing field drawings/plans of different disciplines and may include P&ID's.
  • Working knowledge of the Bechtel Standard Work Processes Procedures (SWPPs) and the related Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs).
  • Developing construction work packages.
  • Familiar with Power BI Database.
  • Utilize Project Wise for viewing scoped systems.
  • Familiar with Quantity Unit Rate Report, Code of Accounts and descriptions.
