Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in Instrumentation and Control to join our team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive electrical design engineering support for facility design and production activities.
Key Responsibilities:
The Electrical Engineer will:
- Develop design outputs that comply with CNS and national standards, such as NFPA 70/National Electrical Code and ASME.
- Review Change Requests (CRs) for systems that have been returned to service for over 90 days.
- Conduct walkdowns to verify that the work outlined in the CRs has been completed.
- Prepare redline markups of affected documents to ensure accurate incorporation of CR information.
- Collaborate effectively with various production and support teams.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An active DOE Q Clearance.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in instrumentation and controls design engineering.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments, particularly NRC or DOE.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
