Licensed Clinical Therapist

The Clinical Therapist plays a crucial role in guiding the therapeutic journey of their assigned clients. This professional is responsible for overseeing the treatment planning process and ensuring that all clinical documentation is completed within designated timelines. Acting as a representative for children, families, and external agencies, the Clinical Therapist provides direct services, including individual and group therapy, as well as family therapy when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Collaborate with community resources, including legal and medical systems, to provide comprehensive support for clients.
- Assess the needs of clients and families, making appropriate referrals to additional resources as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic services to ensure quality assurance.
- Maintain clear communication and coordination of services within the organization.
Position Details:
Type of Employment: Full-time 1099 Contractor, offering 25-30 clinical hours per week.
Compensation: Starting at $55 - $75 per session, with therapists receiving a flat rate per session. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and malpractice insurance.
Work Hours: Flexible part- and full-time availability, with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, and the potential to increase to 30 hours or more. Office hours are available from Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 9 PM.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A master's degree or PhD in social services or a related discipline.
- A valid license to practice in Kentucky, including CSW, LPCA, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC. Preference is given to fully licensed therapists, but provisional licenses may be considered with relevant training and experience.
- Experience with treatment modalities such as DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.
- Awareness of cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic diversity, with the ability to adapt therapeutic methods accordingly.
- Commitment to ethical guidelines and confidentiality.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and electronic health records (EHR) management.
