Licensed Clinical Therapist

The Clinical Therapist plays a crucial role in managing the therapeutic journey of their assigned clients. This professional is responsible for overseeing the treatment planning process and ensuring that all clinical documentation is completed within designated timelines. Acting as a representative for children, families, and external agencies, the Clinical Therapist provides essential services, including individual and group therapy, as well as family therapy when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly individual and group therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions to ensure quality assurance and optimal client outcomes.
- Collaborate with community resources, including legal and medical systems, to provide comprehensive support for clients.
- Assess the needs of clients and their families, making appropriate referrals to additional resources as needed.
- Maintain a focus on ensuring clients are in the least restrictive environment possible while working towards clear goals for permanency.
Position Details:
This role is suited for a dedicated, licensed or provisionally licensed therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality care. Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience, strong clinical skills, and confidence in working with trauma-affected individuals. Experience with adolescents is advantageous.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time 1099 contractor position, requiring 25-30 clinical hours per week, with flexible scheduling options available.
Compensation: Competitive pay starting at $55 - $75 per session, with therapists responsible for their own taxes and malpractice insurance.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- A master's degree or PhD in social services or a related discipline.
- A valid license to practice in Kentucky (CSW, LPCA, LCSW, LMFT, LPC), with preference for fully licensed candidates.
- Completion of foundational training in therapeutic modalities such as DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.
- Ability to adapt therapeutic methods to accommodate cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic diversity.
- Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality in all client interactions.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, along with basic computer skills for documentation and electronic health records.
