Candidates should possess a solid background in Property & Casualty insurance lines. Familiarity with global insurance programs is advantageous.
The responsibilities include developing and negotiating pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions for both new business and renewals, while actively seeking opportunities for account expansion across other Chubb services.
The Lead Underwriter will work closely with fellow underwriters, operational teams, claims departments, marketing, and home office management as required.They will implement and manage effective pricing strategies that promote profitability, growth of the book, and strong relationships with producers.
Demonstrating successful management of agency and broker relationships is essential, including the ability to build, maintain, and manage connections with producers and clients.
Identifying growth opportunities within both new and existing production sources is a key responsibility.
A high level of proficiency in the underwriting process, combined with a robust background in risk assessment, is expected.
Effective interaction with all customer levels and collaboration with a team of underwriters, claims, and loss control professionals is crucial.
Qualifications:
