Job Description
The Department of Ophthalmology at Tufts Medicine is seeking a Director of the Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery service at the Associate Professor or Professor rank. The Director will oversee divisional operations, provide mentorship and career development guidance to Cornea faculty, and commit to resident and fellow education. This is a unique opportunity to lead a talented team and make a meaningful impact in the field of ophthalmology.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A medical degree with approved residency program training in Ophthalmology and Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery fellowship subspecialty training.
  • Board certification in Ophthalmology.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with your qualifications, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including access to state-of-the-art ophthalmic devices, opportunities for research and publication, and a supportive team environment. We estimate this to be around $270,000 per year.
