Role Summary: As a Senior Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) Engineer, you will lead and execute MS&A initiatives to assist business stakeholders, analysts, and operational personnel in defining and evaluating system and data requirements for precise and timely GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence). This role emphasizes providing technical advisory services to identify capability gaps, tools, technologies, and agile methodologies in AI research and development, particularly focusing on the verification of AI models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct gap analyses and develop methodologies to evaluate the impact of AI and machine learning in defense and security applications.
  • Lead the creation and execution of Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Design of Experiments (DoE), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.
  • Support strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design.
  • Analyze and automate existing systems, assessing cloud service capabilities and workflows for potential enhancements.
  • Utilize both quantitative and qualitative analyses to ensure the assurance of AI models.
  • Contribute to the development of AI Assurance capabilities, including eXplainable AI (XAI) and Independent Verification & Validation methodologies (IV&V).
  • Collaborate with leaders, scientists, engineers, and contractors to advance corporate AI strategies focused on Verified-AI (IV&V) and XAI.

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship and Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) Security Clearance.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related STEM field, or equivalent senior-level experience as an MS&A Engineer.
  • Proven experience in AI Assurance, Testing & Evaluation (T&E) or V&V-As-a-Service, and XAI.
  • Demonstrated capability in providing engineering solutions utilizing Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Matlab, R, and Java.
  • Understanding of IV&V processes and the current T&E landscape for AI models.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NGA Enterprise solutions, including CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps.
  • Familiarity with the SAFe framework and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
  • Experience in developing solutions using Cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience in engineering solutions utilizing structured and unstructured Big Data.
