Position: Senior Engineer in AI/ML Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis

Assignment Overview: Senior Engineers will engage in activities that assist stakeholders and analysts in defining and evaluating system requirements for GEOINT. Key focus areas include providing technical advisory support for AI research and development, particularly in the verification of AI models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform gap analysis to evaluate the influence of AI and machine learning on defense applications.
  • Lead the Analysis of Alternatives, Design of Experiments, Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.
  • Support strategic planning, project management, risk management, and interface design.
  • Analyze and improve existing systems, automate processes, and ensure the reliability of AI models.
  • Develop capabilities for AI Assurance, including eXplainable AI and verification methodologies.
  • Collaborate with teams to advance AI strategies focused on Verified AI and XAI.

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship and Top Secret SCI Security Clearance.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in AI Assurance, Automation, and AI technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, R, and Java.
  • Understanding of IVV and AI testing methodologies.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NGA Enterprise solutions, CI/CD pipeline, and DevSecOps.
  • Familiarity with the SAFe framework and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian products.
  • Expertise in cloud-based and Big Data technologies.
