Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to join our team at The Progressive Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for meeting with agents in your assigned territory to influence and advocate for increased utilization of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with agents in your assigned territory to promote Progressive's products and services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents to drive business growth and profitability
  • Manage the quality of the book of business and overcome objections to drive profitable growth within your territory
  • Travel to and meet with all agencies within your geographic area, with occasional overnight stays
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of six years outside business-to-business sales experience or territory management experience
  • OR Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years outside business-to-business sales experience or territory management experience
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Compliance with Progressive's driving standards and policy
Preferred Skills
  • Outside business-to-business sales experience with a demonstrated ability to advocate, influence, and advance results and business outcomes
  • Ability to manage work and weekly schedule independently and efficiently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with a sales or customer relationship management tool (i.e., Salesforce)
Compensation and Benefits
  • $91,000 - $111,000/year
  • $7,500 starting bonus
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of eligible earnings based on company performance
