Job Title: Territory Sales Representative

Are you a sales professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for building relationships and driving business growth? We're seeking a Territory Sales Representative to join our team at Progressive Insurance.

About the Role:

This is a hybrid field position that requires frequent travel within your assigned territory. As a Territory Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for meeting with agents in your territory to influence and advocate for increased utilization of Progressive's products and services. You'll tailor your agent meetings to create opportunities to benefit both Progressive and the agency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with agents in your assigned territory to discuss Progressive's products and services
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase agent utilization of Progressive's products
  • Manage the quality of the book of business and overcome objections to drive profitable growth within your territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and other stakeholders
Requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of six years outside business-to-business sales experience or territory management experience
  • OR Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years outside business-to-business sales experience or territory management experience
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Compliance with Progressive's driving standards and policy
Preferred Skills:
  • Outside business-to-business sales experience with a demonstrated ability to advocate, influence, and advance results and business outcomes
  • Ability to manage work and weekly schedule independently and efficiently
  • Ability to use formal and informal networks to accomplish goals and review data sources
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with a sales or customer relationship management tool (i.e., Salesforce)
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $91,000 - $111,000/year
  • $7,500 starting bonus
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
  • 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar company match up to 6%
