Position: Lead Financial Analyst

Location: Burbank, CA 91505
Compensation: $75/hr
Work Arrangement: Hybrid; In-Office on designated days

Role Summary:

We are in search of a seasoned financial professional to significantly contribute within a vibrant and evolving environment. The Lead Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting technology operations by engaging with both technology and operational teams, concentrating on cost modeling, budget development, and expenditure analysis. Your expertise will be essential in forecasting and providing insights to our internal consolidation team and regional stakeholders, particularly with an emphasis on international technology expenditures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly/Quarterly Close: Oversee entries, uploads to SAP/COGNOS, and provide variance explanations.
  • Allocation Model: Design and manage the allocation model, ensuring effective communication with regional stakeholders.
  • Forecast and Close Inputs: Gather inputs from technology leaders and operational partners to inform forecasts and closes.
  • Budget Analysis: Prepare and scrutinize complex budgets, plans, financial statements, and reports. Identify risks and opportunities while ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Accounting on variance analysis and closing entries.
  • Financial Analysis: Develop and present financial analyses for Technology partners.
  • Presentations: Contribute to presentations for review with senior management.
  • Project Involvement: Participate in project teams supporting new company initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP & COGNOS preferred.
  • Intellectual curiosity.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar industry is a strong plus.
  • Experience with SAP finance in modeling allocation is highly desirable.

Additional Information:

  • Hybrid role; In-Office days are designated.
  • Must excel in Excel and be comfortable communicating with various internal stakeholders.
Compensation Details: $75.00 per hour
