Russell Tobin & Associates is on the lookout for a Financial Analyst to join a leading global family entertainment and media enterprise.

Position Overview:

Employment Type: Contract/Hybrid

Location: Burbank, CA

Compensation: $82-$85, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly and quarterly financial closings, including journal entries, data uploads to SAP/COGNOS, and variance analysis.
  • Design and manage allocation models, ensuring effective communication with regional stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the collection of inputs from technology leaders and operational partners to enhance forecasting and closing processes.
  • Prepare and scrutinize intricate budgets, financial plans, statements, and reports, identifying potential risks and opportunities while ensuring adherence to reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to finalize variance analyses and closing entries.
  • Generate and present financial insights for Technology partners.
  • Contribute to presentations for review by senior management.
  • Participate in project teams to support the company's strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • Experience with SAP finance in allocation modeling.
  • Proficient in Excel with strong communication skills for engaging with various internal stakeholders.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • A collaborative mindset paired with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • A keen sense of intellectual curiosity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced skills in Excel, SAP, and COGNOS are advantageous.
