Job Summary

The Lead Certified Veterinary Technician is a key member of our veterinary team at Roseway Veterinary Hospital. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Train and supervise veterinary support staff to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including anesthesia and recovery.
  • Monitor patient health and well-being, and provide guidance to support staff.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve patient care and hospital efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Provide education and training to support staff on new procedures and technologies.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to support staff.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, including pharmaceuticals and equipment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year experience as a veterinary technician.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of veterinary procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
