Compensation and Benefits:

- Work Schedule: 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Address fundamental technical inquiries across a broad spectrum of technologies, leveraging AI tools to improve first contact resolution.
- Provide technical and application support for the company's suite of data acquisition (DAQ) systems, function generators, digital multimeters (DMM), DC/AC power supplies, electronic loads, frequency counters, source measurement units (SMU), oscilloscopes, application/test automation software, and software licensing.
- Ensure customer interactions are managed with a high level of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure timely handling of new support requests.
- Utilize a case management system to document customer interactions and resolutions.
- Create and publish knowledge articles and FAQs on the Support Portal to assist customers in finding solutions to their test and measurement challenges.
- Continuously develop and maintain technical expertise as new products are introduced.
- Generate pre-sales leads and opportunities by translating customer technical requirements into specific product offerings.
Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years of relevant experience in application engineering, design validation engineering, or test engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with oscilloscopes, spectrometers, or similar equipment.
- Military PMEL/TMDE (metrology) experience is advantageous; experience supporting defense/military clients is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic test and measurement instruments and test automation software.
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers; experience in technical sales or customer service is a plus.
- Programming skills in languages such as .NET, C#, C++, VB, and Python are desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated to learn about products and their applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer interactions daily.
- Assist in training and onboarding of new Frontline Application Engineers.
- Proficiency in Spanish, French, and/or Portuguese is a plus, as the company supports international clients.
