Solar Sales Representative

Sunrun is a leading provider of solar energy solutions, and we're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Field Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales leads and presenting our solar products and services to potential customers in their homes. Your primary goal will be to build genuine relationships with customers, understand their energy needs, and provide them with a personalized solution that meets their requirements.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to generate leads and appointments with potential customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and sales experience from initial contact through installation and beyond.
- Conduct in-home sales presentations, evaluate customer knowledge and needs, and build long-lasting relationships.
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospect to installation, following up with leads and in-home consultations.
- Accurately report on sales outcomes via our CRM tool.
- Meet or exceed minimum sales targets as set by sales leadership.
- Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally with customers and internal teams.
- Willingness to spend time traveling within local markets, depending on business needs and sales model.
- Intermediate comfort level with technology, utilizing an iPad/computer and multiple software applications (CRM experience a plus).
