Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Client Support Specialist to join our team at the Florida Institute of Technology. As a key member of our client care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our students, instructors, and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Warmly greet customers, answer phone calls, and refer customers to appropriate departments and personnel to ensure all customer requests are satisfied in a timely manner.
  • Financial Transactions: Conduct sales transactions, perform data entry, and process cash, credit card, and check payments for goods and services.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain electronic records of financial transactions, prepare and present reports on expenditures and revenue, and track sales and determine quantity levels of inventory line items based on frequency of demand/sales.
  • Customer Accounts: Maintain customer accounts and billing information, collect and process payments, and work closely with the FITA accounting department to identify inconsistencies and solutions.
  • Office Administration: Maintain the client lobby and lounge area, buy office supplies, lounge supplies, and other peripheral items using approved vendors, and serve as a LaserGrade test proctor when required.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma; College Degree preferred but not required.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication skills and the ability to work in harmony with individuals of differing cultures and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Technical Skills: MS Office proficient.
  • Attitude: Positive can-do, team-player attitude and ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Experience: Customer Service background required; experience in retail sales and point of sale software preferred.
