Support the Principal in the management of daily functions and protocols, oversee all student enrollment, attendance, and related administrative tasks, and provide administrative support as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Completion of a one-year certificate program from a college or technical institution; or three to six months of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent.
Skills and Experience:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, and ExcelWillingness to learn specialized software applicationsEffective verbal and written communication skills with staff, students, and parentsAbility to organize and accurately process claims for meal programsPrevious experience in a school office setting is advantageous but not mandatoryKey Responsibilities:
Assist families in completing enrollment documentation and ensure that student records are maintained in accordance with state and institutional standardsMaintain professional communication with parents and central administration through various channelsPrepare and submit reports to the school and central administration as requiredEnsure timely completion and submission of timesheetsCollect and forward new hire documentation and insurance enrollment formsCompile and submit curriculum orders for approvalPrepare purchase orders for necessary school suppliesMaintain accurate student attendance records and submit them to the appropriate coordinatorEnsure enrollment forms are processed and submitted promptlyMonitor student withdrawals and ensure proper documentationWelcome visitors to the school, assess their needs, and direct them accordinglyAssist students facing challenges by providing guidance or referring them to appropriate staffPrepare transcripts for students as neededAdditional Requirements:
Familiarity with and adherence to the Procedures Manual, Employee Handbook, Student Handbook, and Student Code of Conduct
