The Cash Application Operations Coordinator role is ideal for an individual with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

As a Cash Application Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of cash applications including any related research and internal/external contact.

You will reconcile payment remittance advice to payments and funds received at the bank daily in a timely and accurate fashion.

This position requires the ability to multi-task effectively while upholding deadlines set-forth.

You will update JDE and Oracle accounts receivable documents based on payment remittance advice, supporting documents, and defined procedures.

Maintaining files of payments and support in a logical system for storage and retrieval is also a key responsibility.

You will follow up with trade customers' accounts payable contacts for questions related to payments or supporting documents.

This role requires a willingness to cross-train on all department operations in order to provide coverage when needed in the interest of meeting the needs of the business while furthering one's development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Application Management: Manage a high volume of cash applications including any related research and internal/external contact.

  • Customer Communication: Follow up with trade customers' accounts payable contacts for questions related to payments or supporting documents.

Qualifications:

  • Cash Application Experience: Prior cash application experience is highly desired.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communications skills, shows initiative in problem solving, customer service oriented, versatile, proven ability to handle several projects simultaneously, work well under pressure, ability to work within a team environment.
  • Technical Skills: JD Edwards, Oracle, Excel, and Outlook highly preferred.
  • Work Requirements: Willingness to work overtime when needed to complete assigned tasks within deadlines set-forth.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently.

Education:

  • High School Diploma: High School diploma is required.
  • Associates Degree: Associates Degree strongly desired.

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
