Alongside efficient smart-contract development, SIMBA Chain automatically generates APIs that facilitate public, private, and hybrid blockchain implementations. Utilizing SIMBA Chain's cloud-based platform, developers, organizations, educational institutions, and other entities can swiftly and effectively create Web3 solutions.

This role is fully remote within the United States.

SIMBA Chain is in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Lead Project Coordinator to become part of our team. You will collaborate closely with our clients and project teams to guarantee successful project results.

Key indicators of success will be apparent in candidates who possess outstanding communication abilities and extensive experience in managing intricate projects from initiation to completion, with minimal oversight, ensuring they are delivered punctually, within scope, and on budget.

Responsibilities at SIMBA:

  • Oversee and manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring successful delivery aligned with project objectives.
  • Create comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective project execution.
  • Track project progress, identify potential challenges, and implement solutions to mitigate risks and resolve conflicts.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management and clients, through regular updates and presentations.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for enhancement.
  • Encourage a collaborative and high-performance team environment, providing support across the project portfolio.
  • Manage vendor contracts by assigning tasks, setting expectations, and communicating anticipated deliverables.
  • Become proficient in our project management and documentation software tools (Jira & Confluence).
  • Facilitate timely decision-making across a broad network of stakeholders.
  • Ensure project teams are adequately informed of decisions and updates related to their projects.

Qualifications & Skills for Success:

  • 5+ years of project management experience required, preferably in software engineering delivery projects.
  • 5+ years of experience leading client engagements and nurturing strong business relationships.
  • 3+ years of proven experience executing projects according to defined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Advanced project delivery experience, encompassing all aspects and phases of program/project management.
  • Ability to excel in a start-up environment and a willingness to define and enhance business processes.
  • Experience with capacity planning and resource allocation management, client engagement, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Experience working in a fully remote environment with staff and clients across various geographical locations and time zones.
  • Well-developed leadership, management, and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to inspire and lead others.
  • Ability to think critically, be proactive, and solve problems creatively.
  • Strong familiarity with project management agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with high-growth, technology, financial, or blockchain products and services.
  • Experience working with US Government clients, particularly the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Possess an active US security clearance and/or willingness to obtain one.
