Job Summary

Fitesa Simpsonville Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems.
  • Monitor equipment performance, safety, and effectiveness, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct equipment failure analysis to complete preventive and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Log equipment modifications and maintenance details in our designated system.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience and/or relevant field.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work as a team with other technicians and operators.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
  • Possesses a quality and customer-focused mindset.
  • Willingness and ability to train, motivate, and coach other team members.
  • Able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands

This position requires frequent lifting and/or moving up to pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The position requires frequent lifting, walks and stands for long periods of time, and performs strenuous physical labor under extreme temperatures.
