Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and upkeep of production and facility machinery. Adherence to safety protocols and the application of predictive and preventative maintenance strategies are essential to support Fitesa's operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on intricate electrical and mechanical production systems.
  • Monitor equipment performance, safety, and efficiency according to established procedures.
  • Perform failure analysis to execute both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues effectively.
  • Document equipment modifications and maintenance activities in the designated system.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and report to the Maintenance Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • One to three years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or a related field.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other technicians and operators.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Self-motivated with the capacity to manage multiple projects.

Technical Skills:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.
  • Basic electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to interpret technical documents.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent lifting and moving of materials, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The position requires standing and walking for extended periods and performing physical tasks in varying temperatures.
