Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the upkeep and repair of production and facility machinery. This role requires adherence to safety standards and the application of predictive and preventative maintenance techniques to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on intricate electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Monitor equipment performance and safety, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve equipment issues.
  • Document maintenance activities and modifications in the designated tracking system.
  • Collaborate closely with senior maintenance personnel and report to the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or a related field.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to train and mentor fellow team members.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems.
  • Proficient in using computers and software applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and production schedules.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent lifting and moving of materials, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The technician must be capable of performing physical tasks in various environmental conditions.
