Seasonal Maintenance Support

Pendleton Woolen Mills is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to provide seasonal support to our maintenance staff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform grounds keeping duties, including mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, and maintaining sprinkler systems
  • Conduct basic maintenance and preventive maintenance on grounds equipment, building HVAC systems, and facilities
  • Operate the wastewater treatment plant, maintain records, and perform required testing
  • Perform janitorial duties in the mill
  • Utilize the Quality Management System to ensure accurate documentation of processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with and ability to operate lawnmowers, tractors, weed eaters, and other grounds keeping equipment
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and productively independently
  • Organized and detail-oriented
Work Environment:

This is a production mill environment, requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection and safety shoes.
