Job Description

The Director of Revenue Accounting will lead a team responsible for managing monthly and quarterly accounting processes for US Generic products revenues. This role will deliver close results accurately and timely, support quarterly and annual audit requirements, and promote a strong control environment.

This position will participate in forecasting and budgeting processes, focusing on understanding Gross to Net estimates and liabilities for existing and future products. The Director will also develop the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations, including daily revenue reporting and supporting commercial management requests.

The ideal candidate will have technical competence and experience in product revenue accounting and analytics, compliance, and operational experience, as well as team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Generics GTN team in preparing and reviewing accounting close activities, including contract reviews and complex account reconciliations.
  • Responsible for analyzing sales reserves on an ongoing and formalized month-end/quarter-end basis.
  • Support the continuous improvement of internal reporting measures, including daily sales scorecards and monthly/quarterly revenue analytics.
  • Primary contact for financial planning leads in providing forecasted and actual data related to Gross to Net reserves for Generics products.
  • Support external reporting and audit requirements.
  • Support internal business requests for product performance analytics.
  • Drive the development of tools to drive efficiency and promote scalability in day-to-day operations of internal reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years progressive accounting experience.
  • Prior Gross to Net accounting experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience (minimum 5+ years).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA License or MBA.
  • Prior Pharmaceutical Industry experience.
  • Experience with SAP ERP Modules.
