Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Aloft OSU. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling front desk operations, and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, room assignments, and key control.
  • Process guest transactions, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Respond to emergency situations and security issues, escalating to management as needed.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to capitalize on revenue opportunities and promote hotel services.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and services, providing accurate information to guests.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
