Warehouse Operations & Maintenance Team Member

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations & Maintenance team member to join our team at Nice Carpets. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, from organizing inventory to preparing orders and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Unload trucks and inspect inventory for damage
  • Mark materials for job names and keep job materials together
  • Organize materials in the warehouse according to type
  • Prepare materials for jobs by 3 pm
  • Track materials leaving the warehouse and notify the scheduler of any issues
  • Receive and mark materials in the system
  • Do physical counts and notify the purchaser of materials that need to be ordered
  • Provide samples of stocking products
  • Perform property maintenance tasks, including cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse and surrounding areas
Qualifications:
  • Experience in construction or a related field/trade
  • Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and vehicles
  • Forklift certification desired
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to call project superintendents to discuss concerns
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 to $50,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as other benefits such as company matching 401K, PTO as needed, and company-paid health insurance.
