Work Schedule: 12:30pm-8:45pm/Monday-Thursday & 1:00pm-9:15pm/Friday
Compensation: Competitive Pay Rate: $21.00/hour + $1.00/hour Shift Differential
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Material Handling Equipment Operator to join our team at Staples, Inc. As a Material Handling Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to pick product up to 100 lbs and move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.

- Adhere to safety procedures and ensure a safe work environment.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
- Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
- Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
- Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker helpful.
