Job Title: Network Operations Center Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Center Specialist to join our team at Della Infotech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing network engineering support for the CISS project.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a solid network engineering background and experience with Cisco IOS CLI, optical service providers, and network management tools. You will be responsible for implementing the CISS application, participating in project meetings, and providing day-to-day operational support and troubleshooting in all environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide network engineering support for the CISS project
  • Implement the CISS application
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Provide day-to-day operational support and troubleshooting in all environments
  • Support the CJIS 5k Fabric Path implementation/conversion GDC & SDC
  • Implement support of the HiperV to CJIS equipment and network
  • Provide sniffer traces and troubleshooting diagnostics as required for the CISS project
  • Support, troubleshoot, and update PSDN-connected routers (CJRT & SPRT) statewide that are providing network connectivity for municipal police departments
  • Provide guidance to CT municipal police departments on connecting their LAN to statewide PSDN/WAN networks for connectivity to CJIS applications like CISS
  • Break fix support
  • Respond to CJIS/CISS FootPrints Network tickets and resolve
Requirements
  • CCNA Level certification
  • Demonstrated experience on Cisco IOS CLI
  • Optical service provider experience
  • Creation of Visio drawings
  • What's Up and Cisco Prime Suite (Central, Networking, Provisioning, Infrastructure, Optical)
Travel Requirements

The successful candidate may be expected to travel to offsite meetings, municipal police departments, or DESPP remote sites approximately 1 day per work-week on average. Travel may vary according to production schedule.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
