Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join their team in New Milford, CT. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Specialist will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to move and handle materials safely. This includes loading and unloading trucks, assisting in warehouse organization, and adhering to safety protocols and conducting equipment checks.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a sit-down forklift to move and handle materials safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks, and assist in maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure safe operation and maintain a clean and safe working area.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members to achieve daily production goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Certified sit-down forklift operator with experience.
  • Basic math skills and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Forklift experience is a must.
  • Must be bilingual in English/Spanish.
