Job Summary

This position requires an active Secret clearance and involves supporting program development, management, planning, and oversight to ensure effective execution of program goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support program development, management, planning, and oversight to ensure effective execution of program goals.
  • Assist in preparing and administering the program's financial milestones throughout the grant and contract lifecycle.
  • Coordinate efforts with the acquisition management office on grant-related issues.
  • Attend office, team, and program meetings as required.
  • Travel to monitor programs as required.
  • Utilize classified resources from the Bureau for Intelligence and Research (INR) and other offices to perform classified searches and analyze sources and content.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in International Relations, International Development Management, or Public Administration.
  • Active SECRET Security Clearance.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in international relations, human rights, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with current federal grant policies, federal budget regulations, and the ability to apply them in the work environment.
  • Experience with cost-analysis techniques and program evaluation.
  • Strong analytical skills, including both quantitative and qualitative analysis of programs.
  • Familiarity with human rights and democracy records of foreign governments and applicable international standards.
  • Strong knowledge of international relations theories and practices.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated administrative skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to two times a year for up to one week at a time.
  • Active passport required.
